John Smith, manager, capitalized upon the genuine work of burglars who netted several hundred dollars from a safe-cracking job there by surrounding the damaged vault with "whodunnit" material in the lobby area. Peering into the ruins is Gerald H. Hoag, Butterfield Theatres manager in this area.
