A spellbound audience watches through the mist this morning as a power shovel completes the destruction of the Ann Arbor School District's administration building at 1220 Wells St. The police and fire departments said the $200,000 blaze which gutted the 55-year-old building last Nov. 21 was started by arsonists who were never found. The building served as Eberbach Elementary School until 1951 and was reopened in 1956 as the administration building. The site has been purchased by the City of Ann Arbor and may be used for the Burns Park Cultural Center or a park. (News photo by Cecil Lockard)
