Elected - Ann Arbor Police Chief Walter E. Krasny is the new chairman of the Citizens Safety and Traffic Council. He succeeds Fred A. Mammel, director of the city's Public Works Department. Sheridan Springer, a local insurance agent, was elected vice chairman. Carl Arvin of the Michigan Auto Club continues as secretary-treasurer.
