STATE MEET NEXT: Ann Arbor High's three qualifiers for Saturday's Class A State Track Championships on Michigan's Ferry Field are (from left) Dick Coleman, Jim Dixon, and Willie Haywood. Each was helpful in last night's dual meet at Jackson. Haywood qualified for state competition in the shot put and 100-yard dash, Coleman also made it in the shot put, and Dixon will compete in the high jump.

He placed fourth. The meet, in Yost Fieldhouse Saturday night, was the world's largest indoor track program.
