New City Policemen: The addition of these three new patrolmen to the Ann Arbor police department will bring the uniformed division to within two of full strength. The officers, left to right, are: Ralph W. Wall of Belleville, Max W. Walter of Manchester, and Martin J. Spalding of Ann Arbor. The men will be ready for routine police duty after they complete a two-week preliminary training period.

Joseph Huizenga is holding the gun. The gun was found underneath a large rock near the McDonald Ice Cream Co. building, 1039 S. Main St.
