Smoke Draws Crowd: A huge pillar of smoke attracted hundreds of spectators to the scene of a fire in a Sears, Roebuck & Co., warehouse in the 300 block of W. Washington St. at 10:40 this morning. From vantage spots atop the nearby city parking structure and the Ann Arbor Railroad tracks, as well as on the street, they watched firemen extinguish the blaze. The heat generated by the fire caused utility wires overhead to sag.
